Nay Pyi Taw/ August 5th, 2015; Myanmar-Thailand joint high-level committee meeting co-chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Pridiyathorn Devakula and Myanmar Vice President H.E. U Nyan Tun took place in Nay Pyi Taw on the development of the Dawei Special Economic Zone, resolved that concession agreements for the project's initial development phase be grants to Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited, Rojana Industrial Park Public Company Limited and LNG Plus International Company Limited.
There were 9 related projects to be developed as the followings;
  1. Two-land Road, connecting Dawei SEZ with the Thai border (approximately 138 km)
  2. Dawei IE Port
  3. Dawei Industrial Estate (consisting of Land Development, Waste Water Management, Water Distribution System and Power Distribution System
  4. Boil-Off Gas and Temporary Power Plants
  5. Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant (CCGT)
  6. Water Reservoir
  7. Telecommunications Landline
  8. DSEZ Township
  9. LNG Terminal
